Marriages & Banns
In order to be married at St. Dunstan’s, the rules of the Church of
England require that at least one of the couple lives within the
parish boundary, or has been a regular worshipper at the church for at least six
months. It may also be possible if you or your family have a previous
connection with the parish or the church – we can give you more details
about that.
If you are thinking of a Church wedding, please contact us at an early stage
so that we can discuss possible dates and explain any other requirements
before a marriage can take place.
Once the wedding has been arranged, we will meet with you to talk about what
it means to get married, and also about the practical details of the
occasion.

BANNS OF MARRIAGE
If you are to have a Church of England wedding elsewhere, you will
probably have to have Banns of Marriage published here in the Parish where
one of you lives.
